Share-A-Ride (Mobility Alternative Program, MAP)
established by the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) with funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT). MAP's purpose is to assist employers in the five-county southeastern Pennsylvania region in decreasing the number of single-occupancy vehicles (SOVs) driven to their worksite, thus reducing overall traffic congestion in the region. SAR is a broad reaching commute match program for employees who work in southeastern PA.
TransitChek
enables employers of any size to subsidize employees' commutes on public transit or vanpools. The subsidy is in the form of a voucher which employers can give monthly or quarterly as a reward or an incentive. TransitChek is tax-free to employees and tax-deductible to employees.
